Adding another child to your family is always a big transition. It can be hard to imagine how you’ll find time and energy for another tiny person when you’re already so busy. Feelings of guilt or worry about giving each child enough attention are completely normal.

These challenges can feel even more intense if you already have a high-needs or neurodivergent child at home. With extensive experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum and other developmental differences, I can help you prepare for this transition in ways that support your entire family.

Even if your child does not have a formal diagnosis, every child experiences some adjustment when a new baby arrives. Establishing structure and support ahead of time can make the transition smoother for everyone.

Postpartum Meal Prep

The postpartum season is a time for rest, healing, and bonding. Having nourishing, ready-to-eat meals can make those early weeks feel lighter and more supported. Cooking is one of my favorite ways to show love, and I would be happy to provide this help to your family.

I spent several years cooking in a vegetarian restaurant, where I gained professional kitchen experience and strong food safety training. You can feel confident knowing your meals are prepared with both care and expertise.

My goal is simple: to provide delicious, wholesome food that helps your family feel cared for and support your healing.

Below are some examples of meal prep, however everything would be customized to your family’s diet preferences.

Meet Your Doula

Katie Greble

My name is Katie Greble, I am a board certified Art Therapist and Postpartum Doula with a deep passion for supporting mothers and their families during the transformative postpartum period.

After becoming a mother myself and walking alongside friends as they stepped into parenthood, I’ve seen firsthand the challenges this season can bring. Until you experience it, there is no way to really prepare for the exhaustion, the expectations, and the lack of community support that so many families face. My goal is to be the kind of support every new mother deserves during this sacred and tender time.

With a Master’s degree and Board Certification in Art Therapy, I bring a unique blend of therapeutic insight and creative approaches to my work. My background also includes extensive experience supporting neurodivergent children and their families, ensuring each person feels understood and supported in their individual journey. Don’t worry, although the tools I have will be useful in many situations, I will not make you do therapy when in a doula role. The postpartum period is not the time to dig up your trauma. However, I will be much more likely to spot signs of Postpartum Depression/anxiety/psychosis should they arise, and will be prepared with the resources to help.

My practice is grounded in principles of inclusivity, non-discrimination, and respect for all families. I believe every parent deserves compassionate care and the chance to feel confident, seen, and restored as they grow into new rhythms of parenthood. It is an honor to share this time with a new family.

Personally, I love to laugh, read, bake and make art. I have a good collection of houseplants that my children call my jungle. I love all kinds of music, traveling, and volunteering. I am an extrovert by nature and I’ve been known to be able to talk to anyone, however quiet time is a must for recharging.

The very fact that you worry about being a good mom means that you already are one.
